A penny saved, is a penny earned, we've all heard that statement at some point and for any business it is a good modo to live by.
It seems that for the Cheer, Dance and Gymnastics industries summer months are always the hardest to get through, and then you have to turn right around and get equipment to prepare for fall. How do you make your budget stretch when you need 2 new beams, a vault and, 3 new mats or how about a cheer floor?
Many people may not know that a lot of the camps such as Woodward, IGC and others will actually sell off a lot of their equipment at the end of the summer. This is a good opportunity to get lots of good equipment in next-to-new condition at used/demo pricing. Most any dealer can get you what you need but you may have to be a bit patient in getting it, but if you are in need of new equipment for your gym this may be a good way to stretch your dollar.
Another way to tighten your belt and get your hands on some "new" equipment is to look at what major events are coming up such as Nationals, Visa/Tyson Cups, as the equipment that is used in events such as these can usually be picked up for Demo pricing. On the cheer side check out some of the bigger invitational, and national events, usually the sponsors of these events are looking to get rid of the floors at demo pricing at the end of the season.
If you are unsure who is running an event or how to find out if what you are looking for is available just ask your dealer. You can always contact us as well and we are happy to point you in the right direction, because as we all know, a penny saved is a penny earned.
